The intent of this painting was to create a blue subject but utilize complimentary colors for impact even though the colors were not present in the subject. It was simply a study and not really intended for presentation. However, the color was so dramatic that it has been described as 3D. It turned out much better than I anticipated and is a little jewel in my gallery.
