Gibs

This was a restoration project on a painting I found that had been abused and under my house, in the crawl space, for 44 years. It was stored because there was no room for it in the house at the time. So much color was there that had never been discovered as it was put away before a coat of varnish was applied and now she’s showing some nice color. She never had a name… I’ll call her “Gibs” after Charles Dana Gibson and the Gibson Girls from the early 1900’s!
